Lock the product specification before packaging artwork
Confirm product name, dimensions, color, finishing, quantity and sales format first. Packaging size and copy depend on those details; avoid printing barcodes, quantities or product specifications on bulk packaging while the product is still undecided.
Provide editable logos and verified label copy
Provide clear brand artwork, required languages, barcodes or QR codes, and any legally required wording. The brand owner should verify performance claims, origin details, warnings and certification marks; the supplier should follow approved copy rather than inventing credentials.
Approve artwork and physical samples separately
Approving a layout is not the same as approving the product sample. Check the artwork, physical label, pack dimensions, units per pack and finished appearance, and keep the version approved by both parties as the order reference.
